Who is responsible

Fromagerie La Moutonnière S.E.N.C. (Quebec enterprise number 3380362775), 1134 rue Principale, Saint-Ferdinand, Quebec G0N 1N0, is responsible for the personal information collected by this site.

The person in charge of the protection of personal information is Tommy Bouchard, President. For any question, or to request access, correction or deletion: info@fromagerielamoutonniere.com or (819) 382-2300.

This site asks you for nothing

There is no form on this site: no contact form, no newsletter, no account. You can browse all of it without ever giving us your name, your email or your phone number.

We therefore never ask for sensitive information: no social insurance number, no banking details, no identity document. Please do not send us any.

Your cart stays on your device

When you add a cheese to your cart, the list is kept in your own browser's memory, under the name “lm-panier-v1”. It is never sent to us and we cannot read it.

It disappears if you clear your browser data. The cart itself sets no cookies: see below for the only two services that do, and only if you accept them.

The order itself happens on Shopify

When you click to check out, you LEAVE this site: your cart is handed to our Shopify store at 00tvfa-ag.myshopify.com. That is where you enter your name, your shipping address and your payment.

That information is collected and kept by Shopify, under Shopify's own policy, and we access it as the merchant in order to prepare and ship your order. Your card number never passes through this site and we never see it.

The cookie banner, on your first visit

From your first visit, a banner asks whether you agree to let us measure your visit with our JNT statistics tool and with Google Analytics. Until you choose, neither one loads: no cookie is set before your consent.

You can change your mind at any time by clicking “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of any page. Declining immediately clears any cookies already set by Google Analytics.

The visit counter (JNT)

If you accept, we count page views to know what interests people. The counter sends: the page visited, the type of action, the number of seconds the page was actually active, the number of clicks, and — only on the first page of your visit — the site you came from.

It sets no cookie and sends neither your name, nor your email, nor the contents of your cart. It creates no identifier: we cannot recognise you from one visit to the next.

This counter is provided by JNT Productions, the agency that built and maintains this site, and its code is loaded from jntproductions.com.

Google Analytics

If you accept, Google Analytics also measures your visit: pages viewed, where the visit came from, time spent and clicks, using the cookies “_ga” and “_ga_6ZN0X0BC8W”. We do not use this data for advertising and do not enable any Google advertising signal.

This information is processed by Google Inc., under Google's own privacy policy, and may travel through servers located outside Quebec.

Where this data lives

The site is hosted on Vercel. As with any website, data travels through servers that may sit outside Quebec. JNT counter measurements are kept by JNT Productions for the duration of the site maintenance mandate; Google Analytics data is kept by Google, under its own policy.

Your rights

You have the right to know what we hold about you, to obtain a copy, to have it corrected and to ask for its deletion. Write to info@fromagerielamoutonniere.com: we answer within 30 days, as the law requires.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
